My D has been accepted for the fall, but can't decide between Willamette and Whitman.
Will dual major, one being theatre. Does anyone have thoughts about which school has a stronger program? D is graduating from an arts high school, so she wants a strong program, that isn't BFA. Anyone visited both of these schools--what's your take?

I don’t know about Willamettes, but Whitman College Theater program is ranked 12th in the country for liberal arts colleges by Princeton Review. There’s even an alumni theater group in NY who welcome grads. Can’t remember the show, but one recent grad is starring on Broadway now.

Has your daughter seen this site: [CLA: Theatre - Willamette University](http://www.willamette.edu/cla/theatre/recruitment/?)
The Willamette University Theatre Department also has its own Facebook site here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Willamette-University-Theatre-Department/35243697994
She can also email Willamette faculty with any questions. When my son and I visited, we thought the theatre facilities were great, but he’s not planning to major or minor in theatre. But we liked something the tour guide said about how students could sign up to present a “24 hour One Act,” apparently you write, rehearse, and perform within 24 hours. It sounded as if any student could sign up and have a stage…fun.
