in-staters got letters yesterday, and all letters are mailed at the same time. It was the same way with the ED letters, in-staters got them a day before out-of-staters but since there is no postal service on sundays, i'm assuming out-of-staters will get them tomarrow.

thanks. i am ready for the fall. no expecting a positive response here but am glad i will know soon.

Im from NY and I applied RD and got the Monroe honors thingy.

vatownsend,

ahh good luck everyone. i've been anxious to know for a while, but now i really don't want to hah.

All these incredible stats... I have good SATs, but a 3.3 OOS GPA.. Though I have excellent and unique ECs, it's not looking good!!!

yep, i feel the same way. but it's too late to worry about stats.

wise words indeed... wish i could force my self to follow them!!! i dont think im nervous about getting in anymore because i know im not -- i just want this process to end!

beat, are you sure all letters were mailed simultaneously? it seems like they were sent out in bunches last year...

seems like they were sent out in bunches this year year as well (scholarships 1st, RDers second). No, i'm not sure about anything but if they mailed all regular decision letters at the same time, which they probably did, then letters should get here today.

But again, these are just my thoughts so im not positive, although i'm fairly confident about it.

ok guys. i got into big trouble on the unc site when i stated that is the waiting really worth it? they all jumped on me when i said that i don't see why schools wait so long to get the rejections out. sorry if you all take this the same as the unc people did but all i really meant was what asparagus said. for u that applied thinking wm is a safety or match then of course you a fine waiting. but for me my gc made me believe that unc and wm and vandie were impossible and so they are my reaches. so i would be thrilled to get in but really just want the wait over so i can move on. and don't say chill like some other guy said. if you are the top 1% and got into everywhere that is easy to say! for us normal ones, we are going nuts.
