@RibaldFlotsam @sb0110 very interesting, I got an extension to finish my CSS profile after the initial financial aid deadline of 01/15 passed. As a first-gen student college applications are very confusing for me so I had no idea I had to do it. With that being said I did finish the CSS profile within my extended deadline. We shall see.

heyy at what time the admission decisions are released?
@RibaldFlotsam No one knows exactly. I received an email too a while back regarding financial aid but I just followed the directions and submitted the financial aid forms requested. Nothing more. Everyone who is coming up with conspiracies as to what the emails could imply are stressing themselves waaay too much. I know that the schools that emailed me requesting additional financial aid forms all ended up accepting me but there were also some schools that didn’t email at all who still accepted me. Maybe there is a correlation but we don’t know for sure and can’t 100% verify across the board. Let’s just relax and wait the wait. Less than 3 hours to go

I received one of those financial aid emails as well and my mom got really excited because she thought it might mean they are interested in me. I, personally, didn’t see it that way. My parents are divorced and my dad just hadn’t filled out the noncustodial CSS profile information, so I think they just wanted to make sure we submitted it. I honestly have no idea if I will be accepted so don’t worry if you didn’t get the email. I don’t think it really means that you are going to get in or not. Anyways, good luck everyone! Remember that, even if it’s not Williams, we will all find schools that we will love and be happy at! You are all so talented so don’t put yourself down if it’s a rejection because the whole admissions process is crazy anyways haha
Does anyone know if decisions are released in geographical waves like Northeastern was? When will California receive decisions?
@livrox05 @Inxight @Shisuii Regarding the financial document emails, isn’t Willaims need blind? Meaning financial status of the applicant has no affect on decisions. So wouldn’t it make sense for the Fin aid office to only review accepted students?
@abelisathome That’s probably true but I really don’t wanna get into these guessing games. Literally no point considering decisions are in about 2 hours 
tbh idk. To me it makes sense either way but i’d suggest not worrying because we’ll all find out either way tonight
