I’m kind of surprised there are fewer people posting in here! I looked at the Dartmouth one and they had nearly 1000 comments on the ED thread.

Do they really come out the 13th? I feel bad for one of my friends because for Dartmouth (again I know haha) they let them know today rather than the 15th like they originally said. Good luck to all!

I’d be wary of trusting that press release. It is full of numerical errors (Class of 2010, Fall of 201, etc.) Unless you hear differently from admissions staff, I think they will adhere to their long-standing practice of releasing their decisions at 8 pm EST on the 15th

So, I’m like an old lady here; I have no idea how to navigate technology. Do we find out through the Williams PeopleSoft site we were supplied with, or through some other place?

Its my understanding that it will be either through email or the PeopleSoft site. I would rather it be the Saturday because I have exams Friday and Saturday so I won’t want that emotional turmoil :/

What if they mail it the 13th and post online the 15th? When I stayed at Williams, It took 3 days to get a letter to my house. I should call admissions tomorrow.

Leo, I’m exactly in the same position.
Where are you from? I’m Greek-German

I think are chances are quite good as internationals.
If the article is accurate, the number of ED applications from international students are dropping, so they probably want to ensure a number of international undergrads early.

Okay, I just called admission. They told me that if the Student does receive an email on the 13th, it will tell them when the acceptance will be sent. So i guess this means the 15th is the set date.

@Fani95- Cool! I’m from Pakistan. Sort of, though I’ve lived in the UAE all my life
Well, I really hope that’s true! May the most deserving people get in :)

Thank God it’s 15th, I don’t think I was ready to get the decision 2 days early ahaha!

So, why do you guys want to go to Williams??

If the process is the same as it was 3 years ago the decisions were released at 8 pm on the pre-announced day and letters arrived in the mail a few days later. There was however a slight delay as the site may have been overloaded - maybe only five minutes or so but it was a long five minutes. Good luck!

I remember last year the site was swamped for about 15 minutes-- my daughter was calling in from prep school and wanted us to listen in “real time”. She (and we) was (were) biting our nails until she was able to get through!

Oh my, I don’t know if I can handle even 15 minutes of delay!!!

I really like the location; I am born and raised in Athens, a 5-million population city, so I really really look forward to a more quiet and secluded place.
And also the size of the classes. Not to mention the level of the academics.

I was recruited for rowing!! Im still super nervous though, the coach was so vague about if it is a sure thing or not. How do you feel about it?
