Hi. My son got placed in Wilson for his dorm and he’s fine with it even though it’s pretty far from the science buildings.
Any advice on what dining plan to go with? The dining hall right near that dorm isn’t open on the weekends. I want to make sure he doesn’t just live on crackers and peanut butter on weekends. Thanks!!
If he is set on staying in Wilson, you may want to go ahead with one of the semester plans rather than an anytime plan. Here is the link:

I’m not familiar with the area. Are there nearby restaurants? Maybe you would want to go with a smaller plan and supplement with cash he can use anywhere?
I would try to get him into a dorm on campus. ISU actually allows students to change their assignments. You log into accessplus and then access his housing contract and click on search assignments. Then click on each dorm listed to see if they have vacancies. You can continue to check throughout Thurs-Sun through July.

Can I change my assignment? For contracts that start Fall, you can make changes to your assignment using AccessPlus on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout June and July. During the third week of Fall classes, AccessPlus will open up once again for you to make changes Monday - Sunday. For contracts that start Spring, once you have an assignment, you can make changes until the end of December. No changes will be allowed from January 1 until after you have arrived and checked-in. Generally, AccessPlus becomes available the second week of the semester.
