Wimbledon

just saw the scores for the Nahut v. Isner match

still 5th set 33-32 Isner wowzers

I would really like to see Nadal and Sharapova win. They’re my favorites and they both play with a lot of spirit and aggression. I don’t know, you can especially see it in their eyes how determined they are.

I know Sharapova has had such a rough year being injured and all. But I know the Williams sisters are going to put up a fight and one of them might even take the title, that’s all I can say.

I’m watching Mahut v. Isner right now, 41-40 in the 5th. This is absolutely insane, these guys have some determination.

I think Sharapova has a chance to win, I don’t think it’s as good as the Williams sisters in my opinion. I could see it happening though for sure.

I really hope Isner pulls it out.

Agreed. Although Mahut is getting more points on Isner’s serve, it appears Isner is hitting his serve too well. We’ll see.

Damn. I have new found respects for Tennis players.

is it still on tv? I’ve been watching it at espn3.com since world cup came on espn2.

ESPNU if you have it.

**** it’s still going on

John Isner v. Nicolas Mahut, 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, 7-6, 53-52 at the moment.

9 hours of tennis so far.

add this with Fed’s near upset. . . I think this year’s Wimbledon is gonna be one helluva Wimby . . . :D

**on a brighter note, USA advances to 2nd round of World Cup. . .barely.

This match is ridiculous.

Yeah, USA goes from not making 2nd round, to winning their group.

thanks mithopeful.

ESPNU is also on TV, at least for comcast. I had to look it up online though.

54-all in Isner-Mahut match. -___-

this is insanity.

It would be unbelievable if this match had to be finished on a 3rd day.

P.S. Match point!

And Mahut comes up with an ace. This guy is good under pressure.

What time does the continued match begin at?

they already have scheduled matches for tomorrow, so whatever slot is open I guess

It’s going to end really quickly tomorrow and will definately lose some of it’s epicness (compared to if it finished tonight) though the final set being longer than any full tennis match in recorded history is a truly amazing stat.
