Just a quick update. Remember I wanted to get a wine club gift for a wedding gift? Well…that turned out to be a PITA to do. A friend I know who lives in Napa connected me with the CEO of Crimson Wine Group. They put together a great case of assorted wines at a variety of price points. It’s being shipped APRIL 18.

My sister and a good friend are both big wine drinkers. Neither will do wine clubs because they want more control, but either would like a one time case of wine to land on their doorsteps, especially if hand picked by a pro!

The only wine club we do is Rombauer Zin because there are no good local zins. Other than that, there is plenty of good stuff to be found locally. We like to visit our local wine country for some wine tasting once in a while. When asked if we want to join the wine club, we simply tell the folks that we like to spread our $$ around. We just buy a bottle or two to comp the tasting and thank them for the experience.
