<p>I'm a first semester freshman at another university who just applied to transfer to U of M for the Spring (U of M calls it Winter) semester. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not Michigan is likely to accept many freshmen level transfers. I think I probably would have been accepted had I applied last year as a senior, so hopefully that helps. Thanks.</p>
<p>They do take S2 Freshman transfers but probably not many this year because of a larger than projected freshman class yield and also due to high rates of student retention.</p>
