Winter 2012 Closed for Transfer Applicants?

<p>Did anyone notice that the UW is still showing the deadline for Winter 2012 applications as September 1 while also indicating that Winter 2012 is now closed for applications from transfer students? When did that happen? I'm the parent of a transfer student who had some medical issues she was dealing with, but she has been pulling everything together to put in her application here in the next couple of weeks based on the September 1 deadline. I haven't had the heart to tell her that I saw that they're not accepting transfer students now for Winter 2012. Has anyone else come across this and how was anyone supposed to know they quit taking applications short of having a crystal ball?</p>

<p>I don’t imagine that they would close it before the deadline, so maybe it hasn’t opened?</p>
