<p>Another day of waiting… Should anyone to ask either call or walkin? So depressed </p>
<p>I tried calling yesterday @Yakisaka and when I pushed extension 1 for the office of admissions, it kept disconnecting the phone call. Maybe it’s their way of making sure no one calls to ask. </p>

This week I assume is the last week of waiting, it is frustrated! </p>

<p>I just received a email from Broncodirect about YOUR BRONCOPASSWORD WILL EXPIRE IN 15 DAYS. Anyone received the same thing? What we do about this? Any advise? </p>
<p>I called them just now and told them I am waiting for a long time since the first group of people admited on 10/7, then they recorded my information and said that will give me a call later. </p>

<p>Okay so I called admissions and after waiting on hold for 15 minutes I finally got a live person! The lady said that everyone regardless of getting accepted or denied should get a status change by the end of next week. She alluded that next week is the final end of the decision process and denied or accepted you should know. She said very few have been admitted and it’s by department, so once the department notifies them of whos been accepted the status will then change. So… Hopefully people will find out this week. And if by next week there isn’t any change, I would assume its denial. But, I do remember for fall admissions last year people who were waitlisted or not notified of admission were then accepted off wait list and the deadline was extended for them to pay enrollment fee. There is only pne orientation left and if it’s mandatory its going to be a packed one. This phone call didn’t make me feel any better, basically it’s info we already know- keep waiting. </p>
<p>I was told basically the same thing as @HbKelly. The deadline is next week, but the guy told me that some applications started changing as of Monday of this week.
I have a friend who got early admittance for the spring term, tell me how pissed off I was when he told me. Pretty disappointing, anyways I will wait till next week but I just paid the orientation fee to Cal State LA just in case. </p>
<p>That’s SOOOO aggravating @Albert2210 to hear about your friend getting early admittance. I paid ECD for LA awhile ago too so it’s always a backup. I know I’ll need to start paying tuition to register in the next few weeks so I’m still holding out hope for Pomona</p>
<p>Oh, but this week only two days left. No one admitted the first three days? Still application received.</p>
<p>@Yakisaka They also said that only a few people have been admitted so far. I’m still holding out for the best! They’re un impacted majors, we have good GPA’s! There is little reason we should be too worried at this point. Ill be here crossing my fingers until i hear otherwise.</p>
<p>I’m surprised you guys were able to get through to the Admissions Office. I emailed them Monday and still haven’t heard back, but this thread sorta answered my question.
Right now I’m thinking two things for us Business majors based on what was said:
- Those who were accepted on 10/7 were like an early acceptance wave, and the rest of us will get picked up by next week
Or - They already admitted for the business department and we are basically screwed.</p>
<p>But I’m thinking it is likely the former as it’s somewhat doubtful they’d reject anyone higher than a 3.5 for the business program based on those who have already been accepted (who were under that GPA)
Then again, based on the horror that is Cal Poly’s admission system, I can’t say I’m fully confident in that idea.</p>
<p>So is the official word that if we don’t hear anything by the end of next week, we didn’t get in? Class registration already started 3 days ago.</p>
<p>@dezryth the way they made it sound was that we should hear something by the end of next week, denied or accepted. I would just assume that towards the end of next week if we havent heard anything yet when it does change it’ll be a denial haha</p>
<p>Just called again. The lady said the decision will come out in next 5 business days either acceptance or deny. And she said she doesn’t know how they give out the decision not by majors or department. </p>
