<p>What dates do you book airline reservations? Thinking that to be safe would be after the "official" break begins. Do exams finish earlier? When do they close the dorms? Another freshman question....but those airline rates are not going to get cheaper!</p>
<p>I usually book them when I know my final exam schedule, which is usually a week into the fall semester. Yes, exams do finish earlier. Some people go home as early as the last day of class. Dorms close the day after the last final date (which should be Saturday, Dec 20th).</p>
