SoCal>NorCal. NYC sucks in my opinion. I've been here for 17 years and can't wait to get out.

Yeah being at home sucks. I can't wait to get back to college!

NYC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>SoCal=NorCal.

No way!!! I`m having such a great time back home. There is no way I want to go back right now. And once I actually do get back to school, I know I´ll just be counting down the days to spring break/summer vacations.

So mixed responses? For me, the problem is that my two best friends go to school together ten hours away. So that's really hard. I just don't have any desire to go back. I'm dreading it. I have so much more fun with them then my college friends. Yeah...

Oh and I was thinking about transferring to u of washington (in response to like the first response). I applied there because that's where i moved from and I went to my local state school and i would like to have to adjust/change/make new friends/fresh start/etc.

maybe for u nyustudent. I really don't like NYC. the public school system is effed up. The schools near my house suck and I have to commute an hour and half a day.

No way is norcal better than socal. Socal has all the clubs, babes, weather, beauty, laid back attitude, money and recognition.

god i cant wait to get back to college..

i love my college and actually want to have some work to do... im bored out of my mind.

I don't recall making that claim collegehopeful. I will say this, however: NorCal is all old people and SoCal is a bubblegum lalaland.

i can't wait to go back. I'm so over my break. All i do is wake up, eat, work out, watch some porn, shower, sit around until the sun goes down, then go out and hang out for a while and pass out at home where i restart the cycle again.

^^^that's the good life right there but gets old after a few weeks

The semester begins on monday...readjusting to the work and schedule is the worst part...once I get in the groove it will be all good...but mommy I don't wanna go back to school!

Everyone feels really differently, and have all different reasons. The main reason I'm looking forward to going back is to get away from my family - I love them, but can't stand living with them anymore. And, I'm bored. But I'm also considering transferring and all that. No response is "wrong" imo.

I've never lived in SoCal, just visited for about a week every year (I have family there), but I would neeever want to live/go to school there. I've lived on the outskirts of NYC all my life and New York's the place for me. Because I don't live in the city, I do get the pleasures of it without having to deal with stuff like sucky public school systems, but New York over SoCal/LA any day.

I never want to go back to school after the break...I get to used to slacking it and having a good time with old friends. But then the exact opposite happens when I come home for the summer...there's a little 2 week transition that I go through where I wish I was back at school/back at home.

I can't wait to go back to college -.-. My family moved over the semester so I am no where near my friends and they all have different schedules anyways. Plus I am tired being around my family. Nice people, but I hate being with them for extended periods of time :] Also, I have my own space in college. I don't have my own room at home.
