I seriously hope this will go through:
I used to like watching the skaters jump, but now I actually find I far prefer ice dancing.
Just rewatched Midori Itoâs 1988 Olympic performance - she seemed to be enjoying every jump and made them look easy not hard.
Post of the day!!
Oh man! Watching the menâs half pipe. It should be reclassified as a wind tunnel! So. much. Wind. I feel sorry for these guys!!
Surprised that they didnât postpone.
!!!
Me too! Holy JP Morgan. Heartbreak all around. Second and third runs completely wasted for all competitors.
The commentator said that they couldnât postpone because tomorrow is supposed to be windier and then the Olympics are over, so they are out of time.
Watching pairs skating. Two of the Russian pairs competing are coached by Tamara Moskvina. Holy cow. I think I first heard this name in the eighties! I could not believe she was still coaching. She is 80 years old!! A legendary coach who cares about her athletes.

Ms Cruella should try to learn from her (highly doubt she will).
Ah but the end of the pairs figure skating was fabulous. Just fabulous. The winning team had the artistic and the technicalâŠand winning on home ice. The best.
Really bummed about Mikaela. Hope she continues to hold her head high and ignore the haters who seem to be crawling like cockroaches out of their couch pillows.
Womenâs 30 km! What a brutal race. Jessie Diggins did it! Silver medalist. The fight for bronze was unbelievable: all came down to the last handful of meters.
ETA: poor Jessie said she had food poisoning 30 hours before the race.
We saw the last part of the 30k race! The amount of pain and reserve these woman possessed!
Had to watch Jessie! She said she had leg cramping for the last 17k, can you imagine! It was amazing.
A woman from our small town came in 15th! Apparently it was a surprise that she made the team at all.
So cool to see Jessie Doggins to get her medal at the closing ceremony. Not to diminish other athletesâ achievements, but these gals worked really hard for those 30k XC medals.
And just like that⊠the Games are over.
