Hi, I am planning to take an SAT prep course but I don't know which one is the best. I want to take a winter boot camp but I cannot pick between Insight or Elite. If anyone has ever taken their winter boot camp make a brief review? THANKS~

I would love to read any other reviews about other SAT prep courses in Cupertino and San Jose. ^___^ V

I’ve never heard of Insight. From what I’ve heard about Elite, they don’t teach much material and just make you drill tests over and over, which may or may not be a good way to learn for some people. I’ve also heard that the initial placement test at Elite is MUCH harder than the rest of their diagnostics tests (which are also much harder than the actual SAT), so when you start scoring higher after your placement test, it seems like you’ve improved a lot.

I studied at Flex College Prep, with Ms. Yoon. Went from 1500 in 8th grade to 2250+ as a senior. You might want to check it out

I went to Elite over the summer and you will get a high score if you review your tests thoroughly and study hard. They give a lot of work and if you don’t do it, your skills won’t improve. I believe that the winter boot camp goes from like 8am to 5 pm. If you feel that you really need that extra push, I say go ahead.

insight is not helpful at all…they are primarily are college counseling service that just includes sat prep for fun. elite is the better way to go

Go elite for sure.

@tbanh23 , did you go to Elite for SAT bootcamp? how was it? I am about to go to Elite this summer too
