Winter Schedules

Right, but assuming he's an L&S student, he'd still have to go through the trouble of petitioning.

I guess I just don't get what the rush is for a freshman in winter quarter to take 5 classes. It seems awfully self destructive for no reason.

I'd maintain that taking FOUR classes as a freshman in second quarter is a serious course load, depending on the classes. Five is overkill for anyone, let alone a first year.

xerocreative - phys 1a is pretty easy so far, but i did take it in hs (did horribly, cs and ds and fs). it might be dependent on the teacher though.

i also have five classes, but two are lab, so its more like 4.

yeah, it's just a bad idea in most circumstances.

Ok most of you are right. I guess I was too depress about Chem that I would do anything to make up for that B-/C I'm going to receive. :( I was about to do what sicks said, but I thought about it and didn't want to take someone's spot who really needed it.
Thanks for the advice guys. And thanks moldau for your input. :)

Don't be depressed xerocreative. You won't actually know your grade until the final and then the curve...you might be pleasantly surprised. So work hard for next week! :D
