Winter term?

<p>I'm an incoming freshman and out of curiosity I was looking at the classes I want to take during my 2nd semester. </p>

<p>I found that a lot of them have spots already taken..how is this possible? Do current students get to register before us for the winter term? How can I make sure those seats don't get filled up? Can I register for the winter term?</p>

<p>registration doesn't begin until Nov 15..what gives for the filled classes?</p>

<p>How are you looking at the classes available for the winter term this year? The LSA Course guide has only released the classes available for Fall '11.</p>

<p>Winter '11 term refers to winter of this year, meaning second term for the 2010-2011 year. The winter term for this academic year ('11-'12) will be Winter '12. :)</p>
