is the registration process strictly on a first-come first-served basis? </p>

<p>Some courses will fill up on the first 2 days of registration, mainly the specially offered cool classes. For large, commonly offered classes like stats 350, I think there should be at least a few spots left over by the start of the semester, but they might be at inconvenient times. You can also always hope that people drop the class after the first few days/week, so you'll have to be checking wolverine access at least once a day to register for classes.</p>
