I have been accepted to both University of Wisconsin Madison and University of Florida. I live in Florida so i can basically attend UF for free, but at Wisconsin I can find a way to get in-state tuition maybe after a couple years because of my dad. I am stuck and dont know where to go, rankings tell me UW Madison but not by much of a difference, maybe 13 spots. I've been to Madison and fell in love with the place, but UF is a great place i hear too.

Where should i go? Thank you in advance for all the help.

You said you visited Wisconsin. Have you visited UF? If you haven't, I suggest a visit, preferably an overnighter.

Do you have an idea of your major? How important is cost, and do you plan to go to professional (law/med/business) or graduate school?

If so, it might be worth it. Does he live in Wisconsin? It can be very hard to get in-state tuition at OOS colleges because you have to prove that you're not just living in the state to go to college there.
