<p>Does anyone here wish that their school had more classes to take per year. Some schools take as much as 10 and some as few as 6. My school has 7. I really wish that it were different. </p>
<p>Also does anyone here wish that their school offered more courses/classes such as more A.P. or more creative classes, etc.</p>
<p>What?? 7 not enough for you? I took 7 classes a day everyday for 2 of my 4 yrs and the other 2 years I took 6 classes. With a mix of AP and Honors (which I had plenty of) it was well beyond what I could want lol....enjoy H.S and just do well with what you have</p>
<p>btw, if u really want more classes, go take classes at a local University...that could be cool cause u get both H.S credit and college credit :)</p>
<p>If you want to take umardarr's suggestions. Personally, I have time for 7 classes (everything but lunch) and that's enough. I had 7 my first two years and 6 classes last year, 6 this year (but all periods are filled up because 1 of my classes for this year and last year was double-blocked). Learn to live with what you have, because I think you're only a freshman and don't understand how 7 classes can be even too much</p>
<p>Man you guys are lucky, my school only allows us to have 6 classes......</p>
<p>harvardorbust07, same here. The good thing that I've realized, however, is that colleges know each school, and understand why you're "only" talking 6 classes. Also, assuming that each school has just as many hours per day total, you're actually getting more minutes per class, which gives you more lab time, discussion time, etc. </p>
<p>See, I rationalized my way into making our schools sound WAY BETTER! :)</p>
<p>At my school, we take 5 a day and we aren't big enough to offer any APs, which really sucks.</p>
<p>I take a total of 7 classes , 1st period 1 hr. everyday, even day: 2(1hr 30min), 4(2hrs),6(1hr 30min) odd:3(1hr 30min),5(2hrs),7(1hr 30min) and we have plenty of honors and AP classes and we have the tech center which is right beside my school.The Tech Center has health occupations 1 and 2 and Practical nursing 1 and 2. Also, my school has many science and math elective classes. And, we can take classes online, at night school, and during summer school, so I can get ALOT of credits just by summer and online school. :)</p>
<p>EDIT:I also have the oppourtunity to take classes at the CC for 6 college credits and 1 hs credit.</p>
<p>I wish my school didnt have so many people and a schedule that always worked against my electives so I can actually take the class I want for once. kinda begin to suck when you can take the class you want for 3 years straight because they keep over lapping the only block that class is offered in with some other single block class.</p>
