With a 2400 SAT and 85 GPA, is it possible to receive a scholarship for ivy?

Only good reason to take ACT is if you would consider a school with what is known as Perfect ACT score. There are several that offer full tuition, room, board and books if you hit that magic number. Remember a 35 doesn’t count. A few are big public flagships from midwest with good ratings and programs depending on what you are looking for.

I agree that if you ace both, you could put yourself in the “smart, but lazy” category. I have seen it happen to kids who everyone thought were an accept even with tons of ECs and National Awards. :(

So, the “smart but lazy” category isn’t good? :frowning:
A perfect ACT score looks hard to achieve, a handful (appx. 69 students) in the nation achieve this. Which universities have this?

And I heard that a 85 in my school is appx. 93 in a regular high school since it’s specialized. I’m not sure if admission officers would take that into account but, hopefully that’ll help.
