If you have sent the pre-app and your application fee, your file has been created and your teavhers can start senting your recs.
Did you get any kind of e-mail conmfirmation for the pre-application (I thin Dartmouth still has their own Pre-application through their website, I don't remember Their pre-app with the common application, but a lot has changed in 1 year)

I don't think Dartmouth was set up to take application fees on line (unless it just started this year). If not since you have not mailed in your fee, mail in your fee now. I would suggest inserting a postcard addressed to your self and on the other side write:

Received
Teacher Recommendation
Put the teacher's initials in the corner.

Darmouth will stamp the day they received it and send it mail it back to you. If you are applying RD you should do this for all of your stuff going snail mail, peer recs, GS recs, any supplemental essays , Application fee etc.

AGHHH
not the pre-app
so sorry
Online, they call it the Personal Information Form (in leu of the paper pre-app). Sorry bout the confusion.

Should I have received an email confirmation about it? I submitted it Saturday through the Common App Online.

Dartmouth takes app fees online through their website and Common App Online, so I'm just opting for common app online, which will send the fee when I send the actual application.

That's a good idea for the self stamped post cards though.

But I'm wondering if anyone received a confirmation after submitting the personal info form online

I never got a confirmation about my Pre-App (which seems to be the counterpart of the personal info online form). I only received a confirmation when I sent in my ACTUAL application. If you want to make sure that they've received your fee, you can just call them and ask.
