Withdrawaling from a non-major class

I realize this may not necessarily be the proper place for this, but here I go anyways trying to explain this. I am not only going to be transferring(pending admission decision) schools but changing majors all in the same semester. This semester, I am taking 5 classes that relate to a major that will mean nothing to me or my future course work, so I wanted some advice. I am thinking about withdrawing from one of these courses(the most time consuming one, and also one I’m pretty much failing) so that I can focus on passing the other ones(I am changing these to pass/fail). So I have two questions:

  1. When I send in my final transcript(long after the decision is made, I will add), will dropping one class and taking the others for credit only look bad(no longer my major classes, remember) or cause a cancellation of acceptance?
  2. Will my transcript from my old college cease to exist or will I need it when it comes to apply to grad school?
I would appreciate an answer and thanks for taking time to read my post.
