<p>Currently, I am enrolled in a small d1 school in the Midwest and am hoping to transfer to a top LAC (Middlebury, Tufts, Brandeis) in the near future. So far I have a 3.75 GPA and have made Deans list for all semesters I have attended. My problem is, this semester I am taking an advanced math course and it appears I have no chance of achieving an A and even a B will be a reach. Should I withdraw and retain my GPA or stick it out and do my best? How bad will it look on my transcript to withdraw? If I do withdraw I won’t make Dean’s List and would that hurt my chances? Also, I swim and our workouts sometimes interfere with class which is another reason I would like to withdraw. </p>
<p>I forgot to note, that was my 6th class and I would still have 5 other classes I am excelling in. </p>
