<p>I’ve been accepted to American University through the Washington Mentorship Program. We stay on Tenley Campus until Spring semester. Now I’ve heard that there’s a place like aulink where accepted students can throw their information for roommate preferences. I was wondering if I still get that option being on Tenley. My real question is: Is there a separate place that I can do a roommate search or is it no different than regularly accepted AU students who stay on main campus?</p>
<p>Nope, if you want to do a roommate search I would suggest the facebook group or au link. It’s all the same. That being said, I would take a random roommate over actively searching one out – too much in common can be a bad thing.</p>
<p>haha. Good point. I guess surprises are always nice. It’s just a gamble hping you won’t opt out of your room. I mean, I’m just a little more on edge because I have to triple for fall semester.</p>
