"Woman in Science" but less than great SAT Math

This is the dilemma, folks. I intend to major in either physics or math in college, but my verbal/writing SAT scores are far better than my math.

My verbal was a 760, my writing an 800, but my math a 690.

Would I have a better chance getting accepted to a school (non-engineering) if I stated my intended major as physics for the "woman in science" benefit, or as linguistics to emphasize my SAT verbal/writing?

I doubt it matters. If you intend to pursue math/sci, then tell them that.

yeah, best to be honest. and it's not like a 690 is bad! all your scores look pretty darn good to me, so i don't see a problem.
