I'm wondering if a person holding a Bachelor degree in any field can apply to med school...? Say someone did BSc in Biology or biochemistry, can they get into med school?

What about international students?

thanks

Yes they can. Us medical schools just require that certain prerequisites (bio, chem, org chem, physics) are taken but the overall major or concentration of study is unrestricted. Biology and biochemistry are both fairly common ones.

International students must take at least 90 credits, including all their science, English, math and social science prerequisites at an accredited US or Canadian college or university in order to be considered for medical school admission.

UVA and Georgetown will consider baccalaureate degrees from UK colleges under special circumstances.

There are a handful (maybe 8-9?) osteopathic medical schools which may accept degrees from foreign universities on a case-by-case basis.
