Junior in high school right now and it’s been bothering me because I want to become a doctor and obviously it’s very hard to do. I heard UW has a very good premed program and I was hoping to see if I have enough to get in. My GPA is good, I have a 3.79 unweighted I think, but my extra cirricular’s are kind of weak. I am in National Science honor Society, was in nhs till i got kicked out for not doing the required amount of projects which was my mistake for forgetting to attend and also part of an Interact club which is for volunteering hours and stuff. However, I do play basketball and I am going to join a league in a few weeks after AP testing. Got a 1150 on my SAT but i could really do better and only did bad because I was running out of time… Anyways, any help would be nice. Thanks
recreated on another forum… wrong one… don’t know how to delete.

come on anyone?
Sorry but I don’t think you have a chance. My friend who had an SAT score in the 1300s and more extracurriculars than you didn’t get in. Just boost the SAT score and you’ll have a chance!!
I am out of state, what other extra cirricular stuff should i try doing

As an OOS, UW is expensive.
Can you afford it?
^ Can you? Are you paying?
