Wondering where Michigan Engineering grads go most often to graduate school

I have done some searching, both online and on CC specifically, and can’t fine any stats about where UMich engineering grads tend to go to grad school. Does anyone have any information or past years’ stats? Thanks so much!

I know four who graduated from the CoE in the last 2 years. Two stayed at Michigan for grad school, one went to Cal and one went to MIT. Naturally, not all of them end up at top 5 programs, but it just worked out that way for those four students.

I would check into the 5 year BSE/MSE program at CoE too. That’s pretty popular if you are not on a Ph.D. track, and sometimes if you are.

I know for Computer Science, many complete a masters which is typically 2 years but can be done in 1 year right after undergrad. Their 3.4 Masters program let’s you apply to the Rackham MSE in CS without needing to take the GRE or submit any letters recommendation as long as you complete the essay and have at least a 3.4 EECS GPA. They get the exact same degree and education as external applicants from other undergrads except without all that extra work. It was a really good deal while it lasted but it has been retired.
