Schools:
Boston University - Match

Georgia Tech - Match

Syracuse - Match

NYU CAS - High Match

Emory - High Match/Slight Reach

University of Rochester - High Match

Carnegie Mellon H&SS - High Match 3.58 CMU GPA

Georgetown (getting rec from my Gtown Professor cousin) - Slight Reach
(also many family members graduated from Gtown)

Cornell CALS- Slight Reach/Reach

UCSD - Seems like a match when looking at the website with the points (3.58 UC GPA)

Wash U- Slight Reach

I thin Wash U is more like a real reach and so is Georgetown.

How is that you have many family members who graduated from Georgetown, a top-notch institution, yet your family's income is less than $30 k?

maybe it was uncles and aunts or grandparents. and just because someone went to a school like georgetown doesnt mean they make a ton of money.

It was my uncles and aunts.

Anyone else?

Looks fine, except where's your safety school? I would suggest you add one.

Maybe someplace like Univ of Oregon (Safety) or Univ of Colorado (Safe Match) would qualify.

I was thinking BU would be kind of a safety, and Gtech, not too competitive, and I feel really confident.

Anyone else?

bump......
