<p>Today at around 12 PM Pacific Time. While I was reading the email, it was a bit of a roller coaster of emotions. It starts off with saying you didn’t get admitted to CAS, but that you did get admitted to LSP which funnels right into CAS. After doing some research, LSP seems like a much better fit seeing how I went to a very liberal arts high school. </p>
<p>So excited!</p>
<p>I checked my e-mail after school, which is around 4 (california time). My applied for sociology, CAS.</p>
<p>I got into LSP today too!!! I am so excited. I just have to wait to see what I got for financial aid. </p>
<p>I’m either going to go to NYC or London. I really want to go to London, but I kind of want to be at the main campus first.</p>

<p>So, I RSVP’d to the LSP offer tonight. What happens now? Do I wait for the official acceptance letter? Also, I am not sure how to put down enrollment now that I am in LSP… they weren’t exactly 100% clear on what happens after you accept their offer. </p>

<p>As I recall from last year, you will get an official letter of acceptance shortly. Then you will be asked to send in a deposit of 800 dollars. You will have three weeks from the date on the letter to send it back. This is to hold your spot at NYU. If possible try to attend one of the admitted students day for LSP. Basically thats about all that happens till around spring when they send you things about housing ect. oh, congrats!</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I live in Los Angeles and my classes don’t get out for winter break until the 17th. It isn’t possible for me to visit NYU for the event.</p>

Has anyone gotten their “formal” acceptance offer? I responded to their offer on the website and haven’t heard anything since…</p>
<p>I did as well. The same day I received the email.</p>
<p>I got into contact with my regional NYU representative. They send out the admission acceptance packages in batches, so we should all be receiving our packages pretty soon. Just hold on tight, order a NYU sweater and bask in the newfound lack of anxiety and stress over college admissions :P</p>
