Can anyone give me an opinion of the College of Wooster History program? I'm interested in the interactions students have with their professors as well as any overseas studies programs/experiences.

As a Wooster student you will have many opportunities to interact with all of your professors. As a junior and senior all students are required do an independent study (IS) project. IS is 1 semester junior year and 2 semesters senior year.

Each student will have a faculty advisor to during the IS process. I met with my advisors at least once a week. The History Dept at Wooster is usually a tight group with a number of activities outside the classroom for faculty and students to interact.

I personally didn’t study abroad, but I know a number of people who did and all had amazing experiences.

Good Luck!
