Word limit on counsellor/teacher recommendations?

<p>Is there a character/word limit on the teacher/counsellor letters of recommendation? My referees say they have all written over a page and when one of them logged onto the online teacher platform for CommonApp, he said he noticed that it said to 'use the space below to write a short 2000 character evaluation'.</p>

<p>Is there any way to submit a longer recommendation?</p>

<p>Don’t know what the teacher sees, but they can submit by mail to each school if the electronic form doesn’t give them enough space.</p>
