Hello,

I am planning to apply for a law school in next couple years.

I will be graduating from top 10 engineering school with a good GPA soon, and wondering what I should do in order to increase my chances of getting into a law school.

I will be taking patent bar soon and might work for the USPTO as a patent examiner (maybe move to a private law firm as a patent agent later..).
On the other hand, I may work as a consultant for an IT consulting company (mid-size).

Assuming my GPA and LSAT scores are competitive to the others, which work experience would help me more?

Also, how much of an effect does a work experience have in getting into a law school? And how should I build my career experience to increase my chances?

Thank you for reading my post!
