Work Smarter Not Harder

Organization and prioritization is key. Taking a full 10 minutes of your time to organize daily can save you anywhere from 30 minutes to many hours. A basic rule of smarter not harder.

I would disagree with the easy over hard, but actually suggest liked over disliked. If you don’t like a class and know you won’t use the knowledge, don’t waste time cramming it into your brain only to be forgotten. Spend time where it will matter beyond high school, into college and your career. This is a long term smarter not harder.

Seconding homework in class. Use your best judgement on which classes you can do it, it is not for all of them. But a class or two every year always fall to this category. Use it well and it minimizes a lot of work later.

I think at this point we are born into Google, there isn’t even a choice. Hey, could be worse!

Make thorough schedules.

For me, the best way to increase productivity is to create an hour-by-hour schedule of what I am going to do on a given day. I allot a few non-meal breaks into my schedule, and I get to rest whenever I finish an assignment in a shorter time than I projected. If I get behind on my work, I lose my breaks.

@DigitalKing‌ haha brilliant! Pretty similar to how I work.

To sum it up, general advice for OP: Do as little as possible for an A.

Another thing I learned is when to say “no.” Sometimes you just have to tell your friends that you need to do your homework

Also, if you can make studying fun it makes it easier to remember, and then you don’t need to devote as much time to it

You can make a list of things that distract you, and keep track of every time that you go on them while trying to be productive…then you can try to reduce the number of times you “log-on” in the future

Try the loci technique of studying.
