<p>i think it depends. i interviewed at the library and didn’t have to dress up. where do you want to work?</p>
<p>It’s at Haas, but it’s just audio equipment check-out or something like that.</p>
<p>i interviewed at Athletic Ticket Office and dress semi-business (slacks and button up shirt). some people dressed like that too and others just wore their usual outfits. I would say, it’s better to over-dress than under-dress for an interview. It might seem silly if you over-dress, but it shows that you are professional and care about the job.</p>
<p>I went in there wearing my usual outfit. I was going with the “dressed for the job” train of thought since I would never be expected to wear business casual to work.</p>
