I'm supposed to be doing work study at Duke next year. Does anyone know how one goes about finding a job? Is it hard/tricky to find one? What are some higher-recommended positions (in which one can study...)? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I do not do work-study, but my friends that do suggest working at Lily or Bostock/Perkins.

From what I am told it does not require a great deal of effort, and you will have plenty of time to study.

I work as a research assistant at the Fuqua School of Business, and the level of work varies by week, as I set the pace at which I update the professor on my findings -- and it is good from a resume perspective. However, RA opportunities in Fuqua, from my understanding, are rarely extended to freshmen.
