I've worked at a bunch of labs since ninth grade. Although they all focused on the same subject (they were all cellular biology labs), they were all .. different labs. I worked at different labs for a variety of reasons: some weren't available in the summer, and... also, another part of it was that I just wanted to see as many labs as possible, to get a feel for how they worked in general. I was wondering if that would be viewed as inconsistency... because I didn't stay "loyal" to only one lab =/
however... it was still a lot of work each time to get into a new lab, as some of you sci research students might know... so would this be taken into account? Thanks :)

bump......

explain why you switched labs in the extra info section. easy as that. :)

I don't think you need to be loyal to one lab. Sometimes one has funding and another doesn't. Sometimes things happen. As long as what you were doing demonstrates consistency and hard work, I don't foresee an issue.

thanks!! =)

What type of labs did you work in? Were they on college campuses?

I've worked at many labs... two were on college campuses, one was at a medical college. another was at the national institutes of health in maryland during the summer, and another one was at a local laboratory.
