Working on campus

I’ve been told by UCONN that they do not offer much in the way of workstudy, and that most jobs are just regular paying jobs. Can anyone tell us what that’s like for them? What do most jobs pay? How difficult is it to find part time work on campus? How many hours do people work a week? Are there any places that you think are cool to work at?

I know that UConn only allows for students to work 20 hours a week. ( i was told at the open house) There are many part time jobs that are available , mostly in the dining services though.
