Hi there everyone,

I was just wondering what options I should consider this summer. Currently, I have an on campus job working as the assistant of the Director of Academic Planning at my University. It pays well because it's work study and my boss is very understanding of my schedule and would probably not mind working around my summer session courses.

However, I was wondering, since this is my last summer before I graduate, if I should take up an internship to further network with people. Last summer I took a full load of summer courses so I didn't have time for a job (and I'm graduating early so there's not going to be another summer after this one) so being this is my last summer I really am thinking about trying to get a summer internship somewhere either in Human Resources or at a law firm. I mean, I'm not really thinking about going to graduate school or Law school for that matter but I just want some experience under my belt that would raise up the chances of me being employed by the time I graduate...

Would an internship be better than sticking with my on campus job?

I thought about it and I think the internship will of course lead me to a better network for future employment but at the same time my on campus job now is very stable and pays well...

What do you think?
