<p>They just dont look as good as I think they could look...of course Germany has the history of not pressing the offense as much as they should. They have been trying to turn that around though...</p>

<p>I like France to win it all. Zidane is the best player in the tournament and France's defense is very solid.</p>

<p>Still, just one goal (not counting penalty kicks) has been scored against Barthez this tournament. Of course, Thuram is largely responsible for that, but Barthez is difficult to score against.</p>

<p>At this stage, anything can happen. Portugal has nothing to lose, so they will play with reckless abandon. France has won it all recently and has the most talent, so they will be the loosest. Italy has the best goal keep and an incredible defense that forces the other team to change its way of playing. I am glad Germany is out because as the host nation, they would have been tough to beat in the finals.</p>
