it seems that alot of the more elite colleges don't accept credit nor placement for the ap world history test and instead give credit for the european and american history tests.
is this correct and why is this the case?

world was reallllllllll easy...and the first exam was in 2004...maybe they're waiting for more data? or they don't have equivalent core classes?

topics of world history are too broad to form a class in a lot of the universities.

The first exam was 2002.

AP U.S. History was one of the first AP exams created, as opposed to AP World's being at a baby stage, so to speak.

Thus, colleges give credit to APUSH and AP Euro instead of AP World simply because those tests have been around longer.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with AP World being 1) "reallllllllll easy" or having 2) "topics" that "are too broad to form a class in a lot of the universities" because those are all relative and not good enough justification not to accept credit.

ap world was started in the 2001-2002 school year? wow....i thought it was one of the oldest ones
