hello,

i am registered for the world history sat2 test. I am studying from the Barrons book and i have some extra knowledge as i have studied AS level world history.

can someone please tell me how to prepare for it? is the barrons textbook good enough? any extra material i should look at? any useful site online i can refer to? where can i find the practice tests(preferably online since tests are not available in my country)?

please guide me!

I think the Barron’s book is good enough. The fact that you have studied AS World History should be an advantage. So, what you can do is work through the diagnostic test in the Barron’s book, review the concepts (also answer practice questions), and do the practice tests. I don’t know how many practice tests you have, just make sure you analyze your performance each time you do a test. If you need more material, you can go back to your AS study materials: tests/quizzes, textbooks, etc.
I don’t know much about any useful sites, but you can go to the Collegeboard’s website to get a brief idea about the test. There are very few practice tests available for the SAT subject tests, paper or online… So I really can’t direct you to online tests. The Collegeboard has an official study guide for the World History and US History tests, that could be a source of an extra practice test or two. You can order the book and get it mailed to you.

Good Luck. :)
