I sort of feel your pain. I tried WoW once, didn’t like it.
I do, however, play League and GW2. Unfortunatly, GW2 is released on my move in day. (But, if you’ve played GW2 in the beta, you’ll know that its designed to not take up your life but still has enough content to do that.)
But seriously, you might want to check that out. There’s no raiding. Structured PvP has an even playing field and therefore grinding for gear is useless outside PvE. There’s no questing either, everything is dynamic and has an emphasis on exploration (but that’s irrelevant with regards to time management!)

@Atemporal: Heh, I play TF2 as my binge game. Don’t even get me started about Hats.

haha it depends how you are able to manage your time. some do very well, others suck. i dont play video games, but still watch a ton of sports and do more than fine.

When i was in Highschool, i was addicted to Runescape. I am not proud about what i am about to say next but this is the truth, i would play around 6 hours straight during school days and 19 straight hours on weekends. This was because i was gunning for a front page highscore rank in a skill called Agility. This was after i had achieved 99 in all my skills in which i had invested 4 years of my life. Long story short i came to my senses and i realized what i was doing was dumb, i cancelled my membership, and never looked back. I don’t have any regrets though because i had fun.

My advice to you?..just stop playing now!

^everything is fine in moderation…
