I was admitted to UCLA and I have submitted my SIR. However, I noticed that they were still expecting my Pierce College transcript which I don’t have since I had put two classes on my application as PL (planned). These courses do not affect my a-g requirements and were only for self-enrichment. Could this impact my admission status in any major way? It could affect your status if you completely bomb the courses.
Yes, this could seriously impact your admission status if you did not report the changes to UCLA before you got the acceptance letter. This is because even though you put the college classes as “Planned,” the admission officers used that to judge your course rigor, which would have made your application look stronger than it actually is. Just make sure you report this to them ASAP, because if you wait to the last minute and dont tell them anything, there is a good chance your acceptance will be rescinded.
Extra info: I am a recently admitted freshman and I did not take the courses at all.
My major is Computer Science and Engineering.
The two courses were Drawing and Programming Fundamentals which were only planned for personal enrichment.
I could not take these in my free time because I had to care for my siblings.
I have fullfilled all a-g and I have submitted the change.
You’ll most likely be fine.
