Well this was my first time taking the ACT- I was taking my sweet little time on the English section. When all of a sudden the teacher yells 5 more minutes. Then and there I am just shaken, I've only made it to the 50th question; and there's 75 questions total.

So yes I finished with just only 54 questions answered. How bad do you guys think I'm going to have it for messing up so bad?

^ That’s pretty bad :[ You probably didn’t get all 54 correct either, so this could significantly lower your composite score. Did you run out of time on just the English, or on other tests too?

Wow that really isn’t that bad once you put it into perspective. I really did enjoy ACT way more than SAT though. ACT asked me questions concerning what I actually learned throughout highschool. Only problem is I feel they should add at least 15-30 more minutes to some of the sections.

Encouraging guessing really isn’t that good of an idea, in my opinion.

I only did the first 54, rest were blank. The time running out was a big shock to me. Every other section was nice and smooth though. I guess I was just to comfy while taking the English section.

Not to scare you but the first time I took my ACT, I too ran out of time and had less to go than you, I got to like 60ish? and I ended up getting a 21 on it so you’ll probably get like an 18/19. But don’t worry. The second time I took it I got a 30 with blindly guessing on like 5.

Yeah, first time I ran out of time on every section and ended up with a 27 (it wasn’t as bad as yours). The second time, I had really practiced just pacing my self, and I got a 31.
