Hello, Im Yimaj Ahmed. I really want to be accepted to the university of Georgia but i believe my statistics are nowhere near the minimum requirements. i have a 3.5 unweighted gpa and i got a 1200 on the new sat. i have taken 3 ap classses and 2 years of foreign language( should i take 3?) Also my extracurriculars include participating in international club TSA Club and BETA and I have a job. What other things can i do to even be considered
very slim to none
i graduated high school last year with a 4.0, 10 AP courses, and a 1350 on the SAT. i was deferred EA and later denied RD. Despite getting denied, i was accepted to Georgia Tech and knew several people with lower scores than me (around yours, too) who were accepted to UGA. so don’t give up hope!!
i submitted my transfer app two days ago and am hoping to get accepted this time. go dawgs!
@abbbeyroberts I’ve been hearing of cases like that in recent years, very weird how admissions are.
Relative with a 1450 SAT & a 3.7 GPA was waitlisted. (They would not follow my advice.)
Based on the students with whom I am familiar, your chances are very low.
