Worried Senior - should I be? (chances)

My teacher recs should be great, and I'm not sure how my essays will be received. I'm writing my main one on Brave New World and its influence on me and its importance to the world. Is that generic/should I do something more personal? I have absolutely no idea where I stand, but these are the colleges that I'm applying to:

Thank you very much!

bump 10char

Decent chances at all, except Stanford and I have no idea about Wake Forest. I like the essay idea, just emphasize how you have reacted to Brave New World as opposed to just writing about how awesome Brave New World is (and believe me, I know its awesome)

Thanks for the input! So by decent do you mean ~50% chances at WUSTL, Rice and Emory? How about Penn specifically?

If you boost the SAT to a 2250+ Penn is very realistic.

I think I got a 2250, but I won't know until the 23rd. Anyways, any more input on the other colleges like WUSTL and Emory? Will I probably get into at least one of those two? If so, then I can begin to feel at least a little more relaxed.

Scores came in, I got a 2230 (780M, 700CR, 750W). Not quite as high as I liked, but at least it's an improvement. How does this affect me for Penn (applying ED)?

bump (10char)

Sorry for the triple post, but I'd like to have an opinion on my chances at Penn (SAS if I haven't mentioned that yet) with my new SATs before I send in my recommendation letters tomorrow morning.
