I got a 1770 after a lot of studying

Did this really deserve a separate thread?

You know damn well there are many people out there who wish they could have gotten your score.

Congratulations man, that's really good.
Not even BSing you. Most of my friends are yet to break the 1600 barrier.
270 points over the national average is NOTHING to be ashamed of.

I got a 1880, 380 over the average and I am pretty content.

I got a 1710 on my first practice test!

lol I got a 1720 on my first try as a sophomore, minimal studying as well
hope to get above a 2100 but heard 400 pt increases are very rare lol

^You should be able to do it. I took the SAT both times with a lack of sleep (as in 1 hour of sleep or NONE at all).
First time no studying no sleep:1750
Second time studying and 1 hour of sleep:2140
This was from June to October.

relax~many people I know are still in the 1600s

Don't stress over it. I went from a 1690 to an 1890 with little to no studying. You'll do much better the next time.

shiomi, why didn't you sleep?

i know a kid who got a top notch 1140

Oh, I have a bad habit of not being able to sleep when it matters.

It's not the worst. I got a 1720 junior year and brought it up 170 points.

My first was 1730, second was 1790, third is 1960.
Pretty Decent sized jump.

Don't get discouraged....and honestly, even at my private school, about half cannot break 1700/1800...

Dude....I'm like worst than you.
I started with a 145 on the PSAT, after a year of prepping, I wen't up to 2270.

you can do it.

ur in the 79th percentile - not the worst ever

wow, i have really bad grammar.
I'm worse than you.

:P

400 increases are not that hard. just study. I went from 1840 to 2270. 2310 super scored. :D

^WOW
thats amazing

Maybe I should try this so-called studying... might actually get me passed 2000
