I’m shocked that the average score is 1500. You have to have gotten almost half to questions wrong to get such score. I mean, even the dumbest kid I talked to got a 1610.

What are all those people thinking when they walk in and take a college entrance exam?

my sister got a 1300… i know a lot of people from my school district who got scores around that range. i really thought that 1300 was the average…

I haven’t taken it yet, taking it Saturday though. Suffice it to say my score will be in the highest echelons. As all the others have said before, practice tests. Lots of them. I’ve done probably a dozen full exams so far, and I have two left to do this week.

Gee, thanks. That’s exactly what i got on my first practice test.

sounds a bit pretentious from your part…watch what you say, what can come easy to you may be difficult for others.

Anyway for this thread:
I haven’t got above 2100 yet, stuck on 2000 but i took 5 practice test to increase from 1700…and it’s a good idea to read the sparknotes writing, helped me drastically.

1) Three times (2070,2260,2370 don’t let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t retake the SAT, if you think you will do better by all means retake it!)
2) The Blue Book! Other practice books just aren’t as accurate and you need LOTS OF PRACTICE! The SAT is a learnable skill!
