i’m kind of iffy on whether i want to live on-campus or off-campus, so should i just accept their offer now and if i end up deciding on off-campus, reject it?

kissing@ when you accept you have to pay $200 so I would wait until june 20 and think about it and then if I am still considering on campus then accept and pay the 200…

I’m iffy too. I hear De Neve is freshman and sophomores and the dorms are smaller so I’m going to look off campus and then maybe SIR as a backup before the June 22 deadline.

cool, i got assigned to de neve, too. what’s your major?

Psychology… What is your major?

Hey shawna- no way! I can’t afford UCLA housing anyway for a single… Although I hate living alone, I would hate sharing a room, so it’s a fine line for me there. Gotta have my own room. Not my own bathroom or anything selfish- just a little space to call my own. Know what I mean?

And Sherman Oaks is just over the hill. It’s the next best thing because the rent is way cheaper, it’s about a 15 minute ride over the freeway (OBVIOUSLY depending on the time of day), or there are various other routes that are more scenic and fun (like Beverly Glen). I work in Encino, so I need to be kind of equidistant if I can. I’m sure the right thing will find me :)

I hear you… I’ve been looking on uloop and craigslist too. A triple is starting to creep me out given the fact that I have never shared a room & I’m older and wiser then most transfers… haha I prefer a furnished place and a place that is already established but most of the ads up right now are sublet and I’m looking for fall.

good luck!
